This Testing and Pre-Delivery Inspection Policy is issued by GASPA S.R.L MACCHINE, operating commercially under the brand name GASPA MACCHINE, with registered and operational headquarters at Z.I. Predda Niedda Strada 30, 07100 Sassari (SS), Italy, VAT number IT 03006910909, ATECO classification 47.52.40.

GASPA MACCHINE is a dealership specializing in the sale of new and used agricultural and construction machinery (agricultural tractors, mini-excavators, wheel loaders, tandem rollers, telescopic handlers, and related equipment). Before shipment, every machine in our catalog undergoes a technical inspection and visual and functional check at our warehouse in Sassari, according to the procedures described on this page.

This policy applies to all buyers, private consumers and professionals, who place an order through the website gaspa-macchine.com and describes the quality control procedures applied by GASPA MACCHINE before delivery, in compliance with Legislative Decree 17/2010 (transposition of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC), Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), and the machinery safety regulations in force in the destination countries.

Purchasing agricultural or construction machinery remotely, often without being able to see it in person before purchase, requires a particularly high level of trust. For this reason, GASPA MACCHINE has adopted an internal testing and pre-delivery inspection procedure, systematically applied to every machine, with the following objectives:

• Verify that the machine is functional and operational at the time of shipment, except for expressly declared exceptions (for example, machines sold "for repair" or "for parts").
• Compare the actual condition of the machine with what is described in the sales listing, including photographs, declared mileage or hours of use.
• Identify and document transparently any defects, wear, or anomalies present, so that the buyer is informed before delivery.
• Verify the presence and correspondence of technical documentation, safety devices, and accessories indicated in the listing.
• Reduce the risk of post-sale disputes, providing both parties with a clear documentary basis on the condition of the machine at the time of shipment.

For new factory machines, GASPA MACCHINE carries out an acceptance inspection and pre-delivery testing, even when the machine is already accompanied by the manufacturer's factory testing.

We verify that the machine is accompanied by the CE declaration of conformity issued by the manufacturer, the operating and maintenance manual in the required languages, the manufacturer's warranty certificate (if provided), and any other technical documentation supplied as standard.

Before shipment, the machine is started and operated to verify correct engine starting, operation of main controls, hydraulic system (for excavators, handlers, and loaders), and safety devices (lights, acoustic signals, brakes, emergency stop devices where present).

A visual inspection of the machine is carried out to verify the absence of transport or storage damage (impacts, dents, fluid leaks) and the correspondence of the configuration (color, optional equipment, accessories) to what is indicated in the order.

The majority of the GASPA MACCHINE catalog consists of used agricultural and construction machinery. For this category, the pre-delivery inspection is particularly thorough, as it constitutes the main source of information for the buyer who cannot view the machine in person.

Every used machine acquired by GASPA MACCHINE undergoes, upon arrival at our warehouse in Sassari, an initial inspection that includes:

• Recording of operating hours or mileage via the on-board hour meter/odometer.
• Verification of the chassis/serial number (VIN/serial number) and correspondence with available documentation.
• Engine starting and functional test of main systems (transmission, hydraulic system, steering, brakes, power take-off for tractors).
• Inspection of fluid levels and condition (engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant) and search for any visible leaks.
• Verification of the condition of tires, tracks, cutters, arms, buckets, and other parts subject to wear, with notation of the level of wear detected.

For every used machine published on the site, we produce a series of actual photographs of the machine (not generic images of the model), documenting its exterior condition, cab interior (where present), hour meter, and any visible defects. Upon request by the buyer, before purchase we can provide additional photographs or a short video of the machine in operation.

Any defect, aesthetic damage, missing component, or operational anomaly detected during inspection is clearly reported in the product listing or expressly communicated to the buyer before conclusion of the contract. GASPA MACCHINE does not market used machines by omitting relevant information about their actual condition.

The following table summarizes, indicatively, the main areas subject to inspection during the testing and pre-delivery inspection procedure, depending on the type of machine. The actual list may vary depending on the specific model.

All machines marketed by GASPA MACCHINE and destined for European Union countries and Switzerland must comply with the essential safety requirements set out in Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 17/2010), as well as, where applicable, the new EU Regulation 2023/1230 on machinery, which progressively ensures its transposition.

New machines sold by GASPA MACCHINE are equipped with CE marking and accompanied by the related CE declaration of conformity issued by the manufacturer, certifying compliance with applicable essential health and safety requirements. During testing, we verify the presence of the CE identification plate on the machine and correspondence with the documentation provided.

For used machines, during inspection we verify the presence of the original manufacturer's identification plate (with brand, model, serial number, and year of manufacture) and, where available, original conformity documentation. The presence or absence of such documentation is indicated in the product listing.

During testing we verify the presence and operation of the main safety devices required for the type of machine, including, by way of example: rollover protective structures (ROPS), falling object protective structures (FOPS) where applicable, seat belts, reversing acoustic signals, work and signal lights, and emergency stop devices.

At the end of the testing and inspection procedure, and simultaneously with shipment, GASPA MACCHINE provides the buyer with the following documentation, within the limits of what is available for the specific machine:

• Machine technical sheet, with brand, model, chassis/serial number, year of manufacture, and hours/kilometers recorded at the time of inspection.
• CE declaration of conformity and/or original manufacturer's identification plate (for machines equipped with them).
• Operating and maintenance manual and, where available, record of maintenance performed.
• Summary of testing outcome, indicating any defects, wear, or anomalies detected and already described in the listing.
• Ownership and circulation documents, for machines subject to registration (see the "Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Regulations" page for details regarding registration in the destination country).

The testing carried out by GASPA MACCHINE before shipment does not replace the buyer's right and recommendation to inspect the machine upon delivery. We recommend following these steps upon receipt of the machine.

1. Step 1 – Visual inspection before signing delivery receipt Before signing the transport document, visually inspect the machine to identify any obvious transport damage (damaged parts, broken glass, visible fluid leaks).
2. Step 2 – Note any reservations on the transport document If you detect visible damage upon delivery, note a written and descriptive reservation on the transport document (CMR/DDT) before signing it, and avoid generic wording such as "subject to verification" which has no evidentiary value.
3. Step 3 – Photograph the machine and packaging Take photographs of the machine, packaging, and any damage, before moving or using the machine, so that you have complete documentation of the condition upon delivery.
4. Step 4 – Starting and functional test As soon as possible after delivery, start the machine and verify correct operation of main systems, comparing what is observed with the technical sheet and testing outcome provided by GASPA MACCHINE.
5. Step 5 – Contact us in case of discrepancies If you detect a discrepancy between the condition of the machine upon delivery and what is described in the listing or testing sheet, contact us within the timeframes indicated in Section 10, providing the photographic documentation collected.

We understand that purchasing a used machine remotely requires a particular level of trust. For this reason, in addition to the standard procedure described in Sections 3 and 4, GASPA MACCHINE offers interested buyers the following possibilities, to be requested before completion of the order:

• Live video call with one of our technicians, during which the machine is shown in operation and aspects of specific interest are illustrated (cold starting, hydraulic system operation, engine noise, etc.).
• Additional photographs of specific components (chassis number, hour meter, undercarriage, tires, cab interior) not included in the standard listing gallery.
• Video of machine operation, including main operational maneuvers (lifting, rotation, steering, reverse).
• Inspection by an independent expert appointed by the buyer: upon request, GASPA MACCHINE allows access by an expert or technician trusted by the buyer to our warehouse in Sassari, by appointment, to carry out an independent inspection at the buyer's expense before purchase or collection.

Despite the careful testing procedure described on this page, it may happen that a machine presents, upon delivery, a condition not corresponding to what is described in the listing or testing documentation. In these cases, the following applies, in addition to the legal warranty rights described in our Warranty and Protection Policy.

We invite you to report any discrepancy detected upon delivery as soon as possible and in any case within 48 hours of delivery itself, attaching the photographic documentation collected according to the procedure indicated in Section 8. This timeframe is indicated for organizational purposes, to allow us to intervene quickly, and does not in any way limit the legal warranty rights provided by law, whose timeframes are illustrated in our Warranty and Protection Policy.

• Comparison between the testing sheet prepared before shipment and the condition reported by the buyer upon delivery.
• Assessment of whether the anomaly is compatible with transport damage (in which case the procedure with the carrier is activated) or with a pre-existing defect not detected during pre-delivery inspection.
• Identification, together with the buyer, of the quickest and fairest solution: repair, sending of spare parts, intervention by a local technician or, in cases provided by legal warranty, the remedies described in our Warranty and Protection Policy.

The testing and pre-delivery inspection procedure described on this page is applied uniformly to all machines shipped by GASPA MACCHINE, regardless of destination country. However, some aspects relating to safety and subsequent use of the machine may vary depending on the buyer's country of residence.

Machines intended for professional agricultural use must comply with the safety requirements set out in Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Consolidated Workplace Safety Act) for use in the workplace. The documentation provided by GASPA MACCHINE is prepared to facilitate verification of compliance by the employer/professional user.

As European Union Member States, these countries apply the same essential safety requirements set out in Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (and the subsequent EU Regulation 2023/1230). The CE conformity documentation provided by GASPA MACCHINE (Sections 6 and 7) is therefore valid and recognized in all these countries, except for any additional specific requirements for professional use provided by the national workplace safety legislation of each country, which remain the responsibility of the employer/user.

Switzerland applies machinery safety requirements substantially equivalent to those of the EU Machinery Directive, transposed through the Federal Act on the Safety of Technical Installations and Equipment (LSPro) and related ordinances. Machines with CE marking and declaration of conformity provided by GASPA MACCHINE generally satisfy these requirements; any additional requirements requested by cantonal authorities for professional use remain the responsibility of the buyer.

Yes, except for machines expressly sold in "for repair" or "for parts" condition, clearly indicated as such in the listing. In all other cases, every used machine is started and subjected to a functional test of main systems before shipment.
